One year older
Well, yesterday was my birthday - so I am one year older. It just doesn 't seem like it has been that long. What is really funny is that I am trying to figure out what I want to be. Wow! Yes, I am a reading teacher at heart. But I love to create dolls, jewelry, and to knit. I really enjoy making earrings. I really like working with silver. But I love making dolls. It is hard to focus on just one thing for me anyway. So I guess for now I will do a little of each. I have been making a lot of earrings, and I have been knitting on a vest and scarves. I am fixing to work on some dolls. Will try to put some pictures up of all my proojects. Everyone take care. Hugs, Molli

Busy! Busy!
Wow! It has been a while since I posted. Sorry about that. I have been busy with many projects including getting well from some yucky virus I caught. I entered a Challenge Contest in Oct. - Garden Party Challenge. The pattern is one of Rebekka Hollway's designs by the same name Garden Party. I almost chickened out, but I thought you have to be fearless in creating dolls. So I went for it. To my utter surprise, I won second place. Wow! I do have pictures that I will put up today. Back in September, I went to the Iowa/Reno Retreat. Tony and I RVed up to Marshalltown, Iowa. The two instructors were Sherry Goshon and Jean Bernard. It was a fantastic experience. We learned so much. I do want to go back next year. Lord willing.
At the end of September, I started volunteer tutoring (reading) at my old school, E.M. Daggett Elementary School. I love teaching reading. I have 6 groups that I work with. 3 -first grade groups, 2 second grade groups, and 2 kindergarten groups. I have really enjoyed working with the children. I taught first and second grades, but never kindergarten. It is tough, they are looking everywhere but at whatever you are working on. I have to say that the kindergarten teachers have to be so awesome to teach that grade. It is quite a challenge.
Guess I will close for now. Hugs, Molli

Busy Days
Hi all! Sorry I haven't written in a while. Thought I would update on how life is moving along. First off, my daughter and I went to the Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee, WI. We took some wonderful classes. I was so excited to get to meet Sherry Serafini and Jeanette Cook. We really had such a good time. We want to go next year!
The next event was an addition to our family - a blue merle sheltie puppy and has blue eyes. Her name is Puddin. We say that she has an evil twin that comes out every so often. We forgot how busy a puppy can keep you. It is like having a baby. She is a cutie and loves Tony's shoes. She keeps our older sheltie -Peanut- pretty busy. Peanut had been grieving for the sheltie (Punkin had lung cancer) that passed away last summer. I think Puddin was just the right medicine for her and for me. I have been staying very busy with the dogs, but have also been beading, knitting, and trying to spin yarn. I will take some pictures later of Puddin, Peanut, and the many projects. Hopefully I will them get them posted.

My class doll
We got back last night close to 11 pm from New Mexico. The conference was wonderful. I was in Mary Tressler's one day classs and Sherry Goshon's two day class. I am going to try and put pictures up of my doll from Sherry's class. I have a little bit more to do to Mary's class doll before I can put her up. Have a great evening.

An Ad
Well, I am just gonna say it. I am trying to get 13 people to sign up to work with BeautiControl thru me. They have great products -which I love. Their is a really good special on now for new recruits. If you are interested, click on my Beautipage listed up above and go for it. With 13 people signed up, I get to go to New Orleans. WooHoo! Sounds like fun to me. New recruits can also earn this trip. Enough ads. Take care! molli

I'm back!
I have not been blogging, but I have been working on many projects - jewelry and knitting. I finished the scarf I was working on and started another. I have been fearlessly knitting on a pair of socks. Using 4 needles is a challenge. I had to start over 5 times. I have finished the cuff, and am now working on the heel part. I will try to get a picture up of it. Plus I have been knitting with beads on a knitted cuff bracelet. I am going to start back on fearless dollmaking - tomorrow.

Here We Go
Well, I decided to give this blogging a shot. I figured I could write about what I have been doing. I love knitting, dollmaking, sewing, bead embroidery, and jewelry making. Right now I am working on a Knitting project that has really been a challenge for me. It is called Entrelac Scarf by Lucy Neatby. The yarn I am working with is Karaoke by SWTC. It is 50% soysilk ad 50% wool. I like it. The pattern is like squares that are knitted together. The squares are knitted in one continuous pattern. I will have to take a picture of it. It is really hard to explain. This year I have decided to be a Fearless Knitter, Fearless Doll Artist, and a Fearless Jewelry maker. So I am going to move out of my comfort zone. So many times I have stopped myself from making a doll because I was afraid I would fail. Now that I am older, what the heck! Who is to say what is a mistake? I think I also need to be a Fearless Blogger!
